Leave with slide locked open and magazine out<BR/><BR/>Revolver (not break top like Webley): press cylinder release latch. Tilt cylider clear of frame invert and empty rounds from cylinder. Leave with cylinder "out".<BR/><BR/>Revolver (Webley break top): press stirrup release latch and revolver will break open like a shotgun exposing rounds in cylinder. Empty cylinder. Leave open.<BR/><BR/>Before engaging in any of the above make sure gun not pointing at anyone or at anything which could cause a problem in the event of an accidental discharge.
